Prior to your new Patio being installed, we will need to obtain a Building Permit (BA2) from your local council, and if the proposed Patio is outside the residential design codes, e.g. (minimum setbacks from the boundary/strata title properties) planning approval will also be required.
WESFIX® will organise all your council requirements, draft your plans and elevations and lodge the application with your local council within two weeks from acceptance of quote (all the homeowner has to do is sign the BA2).
Not all councils are the same and each council have different time frames for building applications, It is not uncommon to receive a building permit ( BA2) in less than one week from one council to 5 weeks in another different council.
All councils are required to process a BA2 within 25 business days, and you should allow a further 4 weeks if your patio requires planning approval.
Please allow a minimum of twelve weeks until your patio will be completed.
